We have some exciting news! With restrictions starting to lift, we are ready to get back to meeting on our campus again. Starting Sunday, May 17th, Gulf Coast will be open again for in-person services! We are so excited to see you all!
We will have two services at 9:15am and 11:00am as normal, but things will be a bit different.
For the time being, there will be no GC Kids Worship and no infant or toddler nursery services offered. Those services will eventually return, but as we are still encouraging social distancing for the time being, we are suspending those services for now. Kids are encouraged to sit with their families in the worship service. This might make the service a little more lively, but like Jesus we want to accept and welcome kids into our services. We will continue to offer virtual small groups for ages Kindergarten through High School. Find out more information about these groups by clicking HERE.
We are also advising those who are high risk candidates to use their best judgment concerning attendance. Don’t get us wrong - we want to see you, but we also want you to be safe.
Our service will run slightly differently. We’ve spaced out the seating a bit to comply with social distancing guidelines. We are encouraging families to sit together and respect other families distance. We will provide pre-packaged communion at the entrance to the auditorium so grab it when you come in.
To be able to provide the cleanest environment possible, we will have a cleaning team who will disinfect all hard surfaces before each service. We will also suspend the food and beverage station for the time being, but please feel free to bring your own coffee! We will offer hand sanitizer throughout our campus. We will continue to encourage social distancing, so hugs and handshakes will be replaced with air high fives for now!
