Gulf Coast Services

Gulf Coast Christian Church meets every Sunday for Worship Service. We offer 9:15 am and 11:00 am services. Both are identical services so you can pick the time that works best for you.

Our church is located at 590 E. Burgess Rd, Pensacola, FL. To find us, you can head West off Davis Highway near the Coffee Guy.

Alternatively, we do also offer our services online through Facebook, YouTube, or here on our website. We’d love for you to join us!

What to Expect

When you arrive at Gulf Coast Christian Church, we want you to feel comfortable. Feel free to dress casually.  You can park anywhere you’d like; however, we do have spots reserved near the front door for new guests.

Head to our Welcome Tent and one of our volunteers will be ready to assist you, answer your questions, or even help register your kids for age-appropriate ministries. Learn more about our Children & Students here. To save time checking in, you may pre-register for our nursery and kids programming, here.

Our mission at Gulf Coast Christian Church is to honor Jesus by being a church that goes for the unreached, connects to make disciples and sends them to impact their world.

At Gulf Coast Christian Church, we own this mission to be a church that is for the Pensacola area! Our goal is to passionately GO and win more people to Jesus through serving our neighbors, to CONNECT with believers in small groups, and to SEND disciples to impact the world. By staying committed to our mission, we believe we can win the Gulf Coast to Jesus.

Our Beliefs

God is the only God and is the Creator of everything. (Genesis 1; John 1:1-3)

Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was born among us, was crucified on a cross, and was raised from death by God.  Jesus Christ is our personal Lord and Savior, forgives us of our wrongs, and is the leader of our lives. (John 1:14; 3:16-18)

God’s forgiveness comes only through Christ and is a gift from Him because of His grace and love. (2 Corinthians 5:14; Ephesians 2:4)

The Holy Spirit is God’s Spirit and is present and working in the daily lives of Christians to direct us and help us live a Christ-like life. (John 16:5-16; Romans 8:9-11)

The Bible is God’s Word and is the authority and guide for all that we say and all that we do. (Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Salvation is not something that can be earned. It is a free gift from God provided by Jesus’ death on the cross. It is available to everyone who accepts Jesus by faith, repents, confesses, and is baptized, as taught and practiced by Jesus Himself, by immersion in water symbolizing His own death, burial, and resurrection as well as the believer’s commitment to follow Him. (Mark 1:9-13; Romans 6:1-11)

Christ is the head of the church. We submit ourselves and all our activities to His will as we are led by the Bible and His Spirit. (Philippians 2:9-11; Ephesians 5:23)

Because immersed Christians are united in a dynamic relationship with Christ, they are also united with one another and therefore enjoy the privilege of church membership.
(1 Corinthians 12:12-13)

As was the custom of the church in the New Testament, the communion of the Lord’s Supper is shared weekly among followers of Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:7; Luke 22:7-22)

Resurrection from the dead to eternal life with Christ is promised to all Christians.
(1 Corinthians 15:50-58)

Shannon Parsley came on board with the Gulf Coast staff in 2021. Shannon is a California boy that was transplanted to Pensacola while in the Navy. He is husband to Rita for over 30 years, father to Tiegan, Tim, and Tristan, and gramps to Cora June. Shannon absolutely loves family, food, fun, and fireworks! Josh and his wife Kimmie relocated to Florida in August of 2021 looking to be closer to family. They joined the Gulf Coast Christian Church family in November of 2021. Josh and Kimmie have two children, Mattie and Gunner, that are full of energy and spunk. Josh loves the outdoors and really loves spending time with his family doing outdoor activities. Outside of church you might find them surf fishing at Navarre beach, in a tree stand hoping to snag dinner, camping at some new location they haven’t explored yet or just hiking or biking one of their favorite trails.  Josh has his Masters in Divinity through Liberty University.

Alysa is a homeschool mom of 4 beautiful girls. Along with her husband Ken, whom she’s been married to since 2013, her girls, and her parents; they relocated back to the Pensacola area in 2022 and found home at Gulf Coast in January 2023. When she has free time, you will always see her with a book in hand, on the beach, or when the occasion is just right on a cruise.

Ashley Rayls joined our staff in the summer of 2017. While she’s lived in Florida since 2012, she’s originally a Hoosier by birth. Married for 16 years, she and her husband Josh, have two amazing kids. When she’s not working, Ashley loves to travel, go to the beach, and watch HGTV. One of her goals in life is to travel with her family to every state in the USA before her kids turn 18.  She never turns down a good deal or anything with peanut butter in it.
